eMbience launches Indian Ring Tones

Exotic Indian melodies, romantic strains of the sitar and driving beats now can be experienced through Get It Now(R) from Verizon Wireless, the nation's leading wireless service provider, with the introduction of Masttones(TM) Indian-themed polyphonic ringtones. Created by eMbience Inc., a leading developer and publisher of wireless software, in partnership with Faith West Inc., Masttones lets Verizon Wireless customers select ringtones from song categories ranging from Punjabi blends mixed with hip hop rhythms to traditional Indian favorites to hits from the latest Indian films.

The only handset that currently has Masttones appears to be the LG VX6000. The application was developed for BREW in partnership with Faith West, Inc., the US arm behind the company who does CMX.
