Southern LINC Introduces i830

Posted at May 17, 2004 08:04 AM in J2ME .

Although this bronze colored handset has a feature set similar to the i730, leaving on wondering if it isn't just a different name for the same phone, the i830 is much smaller and lighter than the i730.

Supporting MIDP 2.0 and a 130x130 screen with GPS and other such features from the i730, this handset is very capable in a small package. It weighs in at 3.94 ounces compared to the i730's 5.1 ounces. It's 3.34"x1.77"x0.79" compared to the i730's 3.6" x 2.0" x 1.1" form factor, making the i830 smaller in all aspects.
