MIDP Networking Application Design

Although MIDP 1.0 provides only for HTTP connections, you still have a number of options for creating networked MIDP apps. There are a lot of architectural decisions that must be made when designing the network traffic and interfaces for these kinds of systems.


The article goes into resource issues, including the network itself, and application architectural issues that come up when designing and writing a networked MIDP application.
