Kyocera and Superscape Provide 3D for QUALCOMM BREW Handsets

Posted at June 8, 2004 07:47 AM in BREW .
Superscape's Swerve Client, developed in collaboration with ARM, is a fast and efficient software solution that, when running on the wireless device and driven by application code, generates and manages the interactive 3D scenes on the screen using model description data. Swerve Client abstracts the more complex requirements for building interactive 3D applications, making it both easy and fast for designers and programmers to create content without the need for detailed knowledge of such techniques as 3D rendering. Optimized for ARM processor design, Swerve Client runs as part of the actual operating system of the handset and runs games that can either come pre-installed on a mobile device or can be downloaded over the air using the BREW system or Java(TM).
