Posted at June 8, 2004 06:06 PM in BREW .
V-Enable, the worldwide leader in mobile multimodal platform technology, today announced the availability of VeClient, the first multimodal extension for the BREW solution. This extension will give application developers the ability to embed multimodal functionality into existing or new applications. With VeClient, application developers will now have the ability to create flexible, multimodal interfaces between speech and text. Through such applications, consumers will be able to interact with a wireless application in a variety of ways: input with speech and keypad; and output as synthesized speech, audio, plain text and/or graphics.
