Investment Moving into Wireless in Canada

The Bell Accelerator Fund is launching its eighth funding round to sign agreements with innovative companies targeting the development and commercialization of new products and services in the wireless as well as wireline-wireless convergence space. The fund is seeking to invest in companies that: are developing advanced wireless products and services that include but are not limited to applications leveraging WAP, MMS, SMS and LBS; telematics devices and applications; telemetry devices and applications; point-of-sale devices and applications; J2ME applications for consumer & enterprise; applications and infrastructure that leverage synergies between 802.11 and 1xRTT; voice centric applications; vertical enterprise applications and youth focused applications; applications and platforms leveraging video; and products and services leveraging IOTA. R&D must be done in Canada.
