Peroon R&D and Symbian have announced the extension of it's Porting Technology to allow Series 60 C Source Code to be compiled and run nativly on Series 80 and Series 90 devices. IT already allows S60 porting to UIQ. This will NOT allow Series 60 apps to run on new devices, but it will make the authors job of porting the code a lot easier. |
