At the BREW Developer’s Conference in San Diego, Zelos Group released new research that declares Qualcomm’s BREW platform is the preferred development platform in the divisive Java-versus-BREW debate – for the time being.
A heated topic among mobile developers for several years, the debate has become increasingly relevant as Zelos Group predicts that between 80 to 90 percent of all handsets shipped in 2007 will be installed with BREW or J2ME, the lightweight version of Java installed on mobile handsets.
