Handango Brings InHand Client to J2ME Phones

Posted at July 1, 2004 11:53 AM in J2ME .
Today at JavaOne, Handango, the leading provider of mobile downloads, announced the availability of Handango InHand for Java-enabled mobile phones. Handango InHand is an intelligent, device-resident download client.

Using Handango InHand, operators and OEMs can increase download revenues by delivering an on-device, fully-managed and branded customer experience on any Java-enabled mobile phone.

This is very similar to what QUALCOMM uses to allow downloads on BREW handsets.
