Monkey Physics's gaming engine allows developers to build games in J2ME, a form of Java used on mobile phones, PDAs, pagers and set-top boxes.
Monkey Physics, founded last year, was awarded a federal Government COMET commercialisation grant earlier this year, has six employees, has sold its gaming engine to a number of South Australian developers and intends to go national and international.
