Motorla E398: Stereo Sound and more

he E398, first introduced in Miami at the M3 Music Summit in March, is 'a case where 3D surround sound meets MP3', says Motorola. The 110g phone can handle up to 260 to 560 minutes of talktime, and 160 to 210 hours of standby, but its most outstanding feature is the dual 16mm 22kHz stereo speakers, based on Haptics technology, which can enhance the bass in both music or gaming sounds, and play them out loud.

This is nothing new to those who have been to Asia in the last year or so. Stereo phones are all over the place there (I especially noticed a lot in South Korea).

The E398 comes with an integrated VGA camera and flash. It has a 176x220 colour display, and is Bluetooth-enabled. It also comes with exclusive content created by MTV International, including multimedia content such as MP3 ringtones and tracks, video clips and J2ME games.
