Nokia and Poitsec today announced that through a collaborative effort they have developed software for protecting sensitive files on Nokia Series 60 and 80 devices. Operating within the familiar Symbian OS, the software technology will allow the encryption of many different kinds of data including contact info and calendar dates, emails, sms and mms messages, and even memory cards.

This is better than just file encryption ... it can secure your entire phone. This is good for phone used with sensitive data or for people who think everyone else is trying to steal their data.
