QUALCOMM On Easier Floating Point in BREW

Posted at November 23, 2004 03:15 PM in BREW .

QUALCOMM brings us this article/knowledge base item about floating point in BREW and how to do it without having to use macros.

It is possible to define callouts used to determine the location of a writable area of memory in lieu of the floating point status register and errno address. By linking the provided floats.o object file (which performs these tasks) into your project, applications may use floating point data types without the floating point helper functions.

The information is all in this ZIP file which is found from this page.
