QUALCOMM Opens new BREW Lab in Mumbai, India

Posted at December 17, 2004 12:58 PM in BREW .
Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) technology provider Qualcomm Inc has opened BREW developer lab in Mumbai that would provide Indian application developers access to latest BREW-enabled handsets, software and testing tools.

The new lab, one of the nine BREW-developer labs globally, would also provide developers access to hands on technical support from the company, Qualcomm India and SAARC president Kanwalinder Singh told reporters on Wednesday.

The other 8 BREW developer labs are in:

  • San Diego, CA, USA

  • São Paulo, Brazil

  • China

  • Hampshire, UK

  • Haifa, Israel

  • Japan

  • Korea

  • Caracas, Venezuala

The ones without cities are because Qualcomm lists the data in the local language and I can't read Chinese, Japanese, or Korean characters and I'm too lazy to look up the press releases. ;)
