The Motorola V325 from Verizon

Posted at December 6, 2005 07:40 AM in BREW .

v325.jpgThis handset is a paradox of sorts. It wants to be a cheap handset like the V276 as it only has a 1xRTT connection and a VGA camera. At the same time, it also wants to be a high end phone by including a standard 176x220 screen. Well, maybe this marks the end of 176x220 being a high end feature, kicking out the formerly ubiquitous128x160 screen as the low end screen.

With the phone featuring BREW 3.1.2 and only 4M of RAM along with approximately 30M of storage, do we really have a low end phone? Sure, why not. It has no memory card slot, QVGA screen, or multi-megapixel camera. Authenticated BREW developers can access the datasheet from QUALCOMM and learn more.

This phone is now available online from Verizon Wireless. Curiously, this is the day many people thought the Motorola RAZR V3c would be available.

This dam phone has 4 display themes which are all ugly. Had I known this phone didn't let you change the font color, I never would have gotten it. This phone is not customizable enough, and I find it annoying. If you don't mind "settling" for ugly display themes and if you're not an individual, then by all means, get this phone cause it'll be great for you. I'm disappointed. My old LG VX6000 allowed me to change the font color. I thought technology was supposed to ADVANCE ???? Here I am with this new phone and I'm forced to deal with the baby poo brown display theme. Oh yay. I love it so much, let me make a call right now so I can look at it. *rolls eyes*
