Series 60 World Server Example

Posted at January 3, 2006 08:47 AM in Symbian .

Forum Nokia has published a package on using the World Server. The World Server API is used for accessing, updating, and performing basic calculations on city, country, locale based information. Unlike what the name may imply, it's a local API and not some server Nokia is running on top of the world.

Curiously, the world server API has been deprecated in Series 60 versions after 3rd edition and, instead, the Time Zone Localizer API is used.
