Every effort has been made to make this application an authentic learning experience for our youngest users. This means, for example, that we have used real sound samples as opposed to synthesized ones. Real lions do not say "rawr". We paid extra special attention to the video and photography used in this application. Whenever possible, we use real wild animal footage, not materials featuring captive bred zoo animals or animal models. Seeing animals in their natural habitat is crucial for learning context, appreciating nature and valuing the environment. Wild animals are also healthier and under less stress than captive animals, and therefore their behavior is more natural.
